The Legendary powers can be from any class and you'll be able to see where to find them in your Codex, so if there's a power you've had your eye on, you'll be able to go to its dungeon and grab it. The new crafting feature rewards you with a unique form of a Legendary power - called an Aspect - for every dungeon you complete the first time. Although there are key distinctions between the Codex and the Cubes before it, its core purpose seems to be similar in principle: to make Legendary powers more accessible for builds. A procession of these spirits are gathered in the Elder Sanctum.Diablo 4 game director Joe Shely and associate game director Joseph Piepiora gave a breakdown of the Codex of Power during a recent stream. Wandering souls of slain Barbarians haunt the ruins, but are not hostile to the player. The area also features secret corners (behind destructible textures) which may contain extra loot or other rewards. The ruins feature many lore-significant locations (including the gates seen in Diablo II: Lord of Destruction opening cinematic, with bloodstains from Baal's cast to kill the helpless herald) and lots of devastating traps, from gargantuan bladed pendulums to classic floor spikes. Players who manage to clear the area will gain entry to the Elder Sanctum and Tomb of King Kanai and obtain Kanai's Cube. Players will uncover Barbarian lore as they explore the ruins. The area was designed to have a melancholy feel to it, with elements such as funerary art and pyres. Specifically in Act III, near the Arreat Crater. The Ruins of Sescheron available in the Adventure Mode of Diablo III.
